The year 1965 - Two entrepreneurs Mr. R. K. Shah & Mr. V. D. Mehta founded Organic Coatings Pvt. Ltd. The start up was created with a focus on the production and marketing of high quality printing inks and UV coatings. After of a period of consolidation the company went public in 1995.

Today, after close to half a century of serving the Graphic Art, Print and Surface Coating Industry, Organic Coatings is poised on the threshold of a period of transformation and market defining growth. Ink professionals with years of national and international exposure to highly competitive ink markets have been brought on board to steer the vision ahead.

Mr. Vimal Mehra – a highly respected ink industry professional with more than 35 years of experience in leading ink companies has joined in the capacity of Managing Director.

Mr. Dhaval Nanavati – a dynamic management professional with more than 16 years of operational and sales management experience in ink and consumer product companies, has come on board as an Executive Director.

The chemistry of the existing working directors and the new professionals is what has become the driving force behind Organic Coatings Ltd. today.
